In a special “Baseball at the Movies” segment, host Bill Donohue spoke about the greatest documentaries, best musicals and top films of all-time which use baseball as their setting or central theme. Discussed were Ken Burns’ “Baseball,” HBO’s “When It Was A Game,” as well as such great baseball movies as “Pride of the Yankees,” “Bang the Drum Slowly,” “The Natural” and “Field of Dreams.” The 2nd half of the show dealt with discussions on the latest problems to befall the Knicks as well as early spring looks at the Mets and Yankees in the Grapefruit League thus far, with call-ins from the audience.
