Carl and Tony bring their unique style to the show this week, as Carl returns to the WGBB studio where he used to co-host Baseball Talk with Joe. Topics on the show included the latest on the Mets and Yankees, some Met and Yankee “theme songs” from the past, and even some fantasy baseball talk.

Guests on the show included Brian Tuohy author of The Fix Is In: The Showbiz Manipulations of the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and Nascar, and discussed his book in the first part of the show. Then baseball writer Andrew Corselli from the website Yanks Go Yard came on and spoke about the Yankees recent play.

Gladstone, author of A Bitter Cup of Coffee: How MLB and the Player’s Association threw 874 Retirees a Curve, followed by former MLB Player and member of MLB Players Association Subcommittee on Pensions Gary Neibauer, who discussed the book  and  how  MLB  pensions  work.  Then Jon Star of Inside Pitch Magazine talked with Joe about the Mets and some of their future prospects.

Then in the second  hour  Adam  Bernacchio,  author  of  the  blog The Ghost of Moonlight Graham came on and spoke with Joe about the latest in Major League Baseball news, hot stove and the 2010 season.
